the irish naTIONAL HERITAGE PARK
The Irish National Heritage Park is set on over 35 hectares of woodlands, wetlands, estuary and uplands and is situated in Wexford. The park features replica houses, farms and ritual centres from ancient irish history.
Our work at the National Heritage Park in Ferrycarrig began in 2010 with the development of a multilingual audio tour for the site. Since then we have also developed a number of interactive displays and props including an amazing interactive projection at the Neolithic farmhouse and an interactive peep-hole in the Viking Village. The interactive video screen is mounted behind a specially made door which provides the support for this rather surprising visitor attraction. Indeed, the unsuspecting visitor will be able to spy into the Viking Bar unnoticed, or so he thought... until one of the rowdy Vikings spots the intruder and takes action. The latest addition to the site is a stunning realistic figure of an Abbot and his cat realised for us by our London sculptors who had also sculpted the craftsman at Newbridge Silverware and a time travel tunnel made of army camouflage & framing complete with sound effects and carvings.
